The May meeting of the
Central Mississippi Polymer Clay Guild will be on Saturday, May 19, 2012, at
10:00 a.m. at the Pearl Library, Pearl, Mississippi. Annette Harris will be sharing with us how she makes the
variegated striped tube bead necklace that she showed us last month.
The supply list:
One (1) block of conditioned
black clay rolled at a medium thick setting
Two (2) blocks of
conditioned white clay rolled at the thickest setting
Skinner Blend of colors you
like, as many colors as you like, rolled out on a med setting - 3x5" or
longer.
Scrap clay – approximately
equivalent of 2 blocks of clay
Optional: Wire, beads (seed
or little bigger) to finish necklace
“Must have” Tools and Supplies:
Be sure to bring your normal travel kit with a minimum of your pasta machine, clear roller, clay blade, ceramic tile or other work surface, baby wipes.
12 inch 1/16” brass rod
– provided by the Guild
Small circle cutters in
various sizes – Annette says the size of the cutters will depend on the size of
the beads you make
