The June meeting of the Central Mississippi Polymer Clay
Guild will be on Saturday, June 15, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at the Pearl Library,
Pearl, Mississippi. We will start promptly at 10 because we have
a lot to cover. We will be in the
smaller room at the library so we won’t be able to spread out as much.
June is the beginning of our new membership year. Click on the Membership Application, print it, fill it out and bring a check or $20 cash to the meeting.
Debbie will share with us how to
make flowers using the Wilton gum paste flower products. This is going to require that you purchase a
couple of items if you don’t already have them so watch for those 40% off
coupons! Hobby Lobby has one just about every week and Michaels has one this
week also.

Notice that Debbie has requested that you mix the white,
pearl and translucent clay together. Please do this before the meeting.
CLAY – PLEASE CONDITION AND SHEET YOUR CLAY BEFORE THE
MEETING. IF IT IS STICKY, LEECH IT THE
NIGHT BEFORE.
Premo Clay:
½ block White
½ block Pearl
½ block White Translucent
Mix the white, Pearl, and White
Translucent together.
1 block Spanish Olive
CLAY TOOLS:
Be sure to bring your normal
travel kit with a minimum of your pasta machine, clear roller, clay blade,
ceramic tile or other work surface, baby wipes.
A sharp flexible blade/tissue blade
Needle tool
Craft knife
