The July meeting of the Central
Mississippi Polymer Clay Guild will be on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at 10:00
a.m. at the Pearl Library, Pearl, Mississippi. Debbie will be leading the meeting this month
and her focus will be on making canes using the extruder. Some of you have already purchased the new Lucy
Clay extruder and dyes, however Debbie says that if you have not, just bring
your regular extruder and we will share the dyes. It is my understanding they fit the Makins
green extruder. Some of the canes she
will show us can be made with the dyes we already have.
By special request, we are also
going to have a repeat of the flattened glass Christmas ornaments we decorated
last fall. Arlene will lead that
demo. If you want to participate in that
demo, bring canes – or we can use some of what we make during the meeting – a coordinating
clay and white. If you have any of the
orange ModPodge molds with a border mold, bring them. Arlene will bring hers to share. If you have Genesis, bring it. Arlene will also have some to share. She will also have a few of the flattened
round glass ornaments but if you have any, bring them to the meeting.
