Mica in Action
Join us in historic Vicksburg, Mississippi, at the Southern Cultural Heritage Center on May 5-6, 2012 for a fun filled – information packed two-day workshop with International Polymer Clay Artist Judy Belcher. Judy will teach us the intricacies of creating mica clays with an interesting new technique, then conditioning, cutting and stacking the same color to create one of a kind jewelry. Judy will share with us from her wealth of knowledge in working with polymer clay while she shows us how to transform polymer clay into vibrantly colored and beautifully detailed jewelry.

The link I've included gives a brief description and customer reviews as well as the rates. (P.S. I've stayed at the Ameristar Hotel recently and it was very nice.)
The Guild will provide lunch on both days and light snacks and beverages throughout the day. Breakfast will be on your own. Dinner is on your own but a group of us usually go to a local restaurant where Judy will have the opportunity to display some of her work for our ooohs and ahhhhs and to purchase if we want to.
Fill out the registration form below and mail with a $50 non-refundable deposit to the address below. Registrations paid-in-full before March 1st pay $195 for the workshop. Registrations paid-in-full after March 1st pay the full workshop fee of $220.
