The October meeting of the Central Mississippi Polymer Clay Guild will be on Saturday, October 17, 2015, 10:00 a.m. at the Pearl Library, Pearl, Mississippi.  This meeting is going to be doubled the fun with two demos that will start of the Holiday season. Annette is demoing a turkey tea lite for Thanksgiving. And Arlene is demoing a pumpkin tea candle for Halloween, Thanksgiving or simpy because it’s Fall.

Annette Turkey Tea Lite:

•     Brown clay (1 pkg)
•        Gold clay (1/4 pkg or less to make it a bit richer)
•        Tiny amount of red, yellow, white, black
•       Teardrop cutters - 3/8", 5/16", 3/16
•       1 1/2" circle cutter
•      Annette will bring: Genesis & Tea Lites

Arlene Pumpkin Tea Candles:

·       1 package of orange or try Arlene’s color optional mixture of:

(Mix cad yellow & cad red w/a pinch of burnt umber for more pumpkin-y.)

·       Equivalent of ½ package of leaf green

·       Tiny amount of black, white and red clays

·       1/4 inch teardrop or heart shaped cutter

·       Circle cutter that is slightly smaller than teardrop cutter

·       Extruder

·       Arlene will bring: Genesis, brown acrylic paint and candle cups

Be sure to bring your normal travel kit with a minimum of your pasta machine, clear roller, clay blade, ceramic tile or other work surface, baby wipes.
